
Biography
A sociologist by training, specialized in technological innovation management, he has been working for over ten years in smart agriculture, between local and international cooperation and technology transfer. As the administrator of Primo Principio, he leads a multidisciplinary team that integrates IoT sensors, DSS, and data analysis, turning data and models into timely and sustainable decisions for businesses, institutions, and research centers, bridging the gap between research and the field.
With his team, he conceived and developed the SaaS platform 4Agri, active in Italy, Slovenia, and Greece. The company has been a provider for the regional agencies of Sardinia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Lazio, and supports consortia and producers’ associations, LAGs, agronomic consultancies, and farms with precision agriculture solutions and consultancy. He coordinates expertise in engineering, software development, data analysis, agronomy, biology, and bioinformatics to design truly operational DSS. He is involved in the design and management of research and innovation projects at regional, national, and European levels, focusing on predictive modeling and field validation of solutions.
