Farmer – FouBorn and raised in Olmedo, in the beating heart of Sardinia, Andrea Piras is an unconventional farmer: hands in the soil, mind set on the future. At 43, he carries forward Agricola Pi'n'Pi, a farm that does not merely produce, but regenerates, inspires, and innovates.
Passionate about circular economy, medicinal mushrooms, and gourmet cuisine, Andrea transforms every cultivation into a small laboratory of sustainability. His days begin among the scents of nature and end with notes, experiments, and ideas for a more mindful and interconnected agriculture.
In 2025, he won the National Oscar Green Award, a prestigious recognition given to young innovators of Italian agriculture, thanks to a project that combines land, science, and vision: a concrete example of how tradition and future can coexist harmoniously.
